Enough about 9-5,

A little about who I am from 5-9.

I am a mom to two (5 & 1) so unsurprisingly a lot of my life revolves around keeping them alive, fed, and in a state of minimal melt-down. Snacks and naps are key. I also have an 8 year old Great Dane who is without question, our neediest child.

Outside of parenting, I love exploring Portland’s restaurant and beer scene. I am unabashedly one of the biggest beer snobs you’ll ever know (my husband is worse, though). I love travel, and have a running list of future destinations in my notes app that is constantly growing. My husband and I spent 3 years living in Denmark and Germany prior to having kids, and I’m scheming a plan to move the whole family back to Europe (maybe someplace sunnier this time).

I’m outdoorsy in that I like patio dining. I get immense satisfaction from yard work and gardening. Planning house projects is my “Roman Empire.” Nothing scares my husband more than seeing me in a room with a tape measure and “that look” on my face.

I’m lucky to be married to someone who I consider a true partner, and without whom, none of my professional pursuits would be possible. My pronouns are she/her.
